Macdonald Tween A 2010 Provincial Champs

Ideally being in a rink is not everyone’s preference at Spring Break, but the Macdonald Tween A team spent many hours in the Dakota Arena at the start of theirs.  After 6 games total,  5 of them a winning sweep, the girls beat Lorette twice Sunday, March 28th to win the title of 2010 Tween A Provincials Champions. For many of these girls, its a three year title they’ve been fortunate to enjoy and certainly proves there’s a “lucky #3″ out there!  Congrats to the girls and their coaches, Lana, Shelby & Leah….

The Macdonald Petite C team couldn’t have asked for a better finish to their year, nor a better introduction to the game for 3 new players.  They won Gold in Stonewall at Provincials last weekend.  Congratulations Roger, Lisa and girls!

The majority of the Macdonald teams ended off the WRL season in style last weekend by bringing home medals – Petite C won Gold, Tween C, Tween A, Junior B and Open 3 – Macdonald #2 all won Silver.  That’s half our team totals and a pretty large feat for a small rural Association!
